During the first couple of weeks of June, I was able to travel to Montana for a trip of the national parks in the area with my high school friend, Carl. It was quite the adventure!! We travelled from Minnesota by Amtrak train to Montana and visited Glacier National Park. There were glaciers much taller than ourselves. We also went on a few hikes to Avalanche Lake and also to look at the burnt out area from the fire there a few years earlier as well as horse back riding and canoeing. We travelled then to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. There were so many amazing sites such as Old Faithful, the numerous waterfalls, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. We were able to see a variety of wildlife such as buffalo, elk, moose, merlots, deer, mountain goats, bighorn sheep and even bears (they were in a bear park though). It was amazing to see all of the beautiful creation that God has provided--I was often in awe of nature and could have sat with my mouth open for ages looking at it.

This is a picture of me in the Grand Tetons National Park. You can also look at more pictures in our Yahoo Album!
